Zephyr’s Ongoing Media Relations Campaign

Overview

Founded in 2008, Zephyr is a real estate development and investment company committed to building high-quality attached and detached homes, condominiums and luxury apartments. The company, co-founded by Brad Termini and Dane Chapin, with a highly successful group of entrepreneurs working alongside them has successfully completed and sold multiple developments throughout San Diego County.

Challenge

The company began working with Brossman Communications’ CEO in 2013 to help raise awareness of its projects among target audiences and to build third-party credibility through earned media relations.

Solution

Working on a retainer for six years, Jenna continually kept the company front and center in local, regional, national, international and trade media outlets. She did this by working closely with Zephyr to dig into the company, its projects and executives to determine what made them unique and newsworthy.

From there, she developed interesting angles, along with press materials, and conducted media training with executives to prepare them for interviews and tough questions, before pitching reporters to secure earned coverage.

Results

The ongoing, positive media coverage helped establish Zephyr and its executives as thought leaders in the industry, added credibility to the company and raised awareness of its projects among buyers—aiding in the sell-out of its developments.
